Get down, get dirty, and then drink some beer. Sounds like a perfect Saturday to us.

We're sponsoring the inaugural Mud Dog Run April 16 at the Ceresville Mansion in Frederick, Maryland. This high-intensity 5K will feature a (well) muddy obstacle course that is not for the faint of heart. A few of us mutts will be sucking in our beer bellies, snubbing out our cigarettes, and (most likely) collapsing en route to the finish.

Registration before April 1 is $55 and includes a commemorative pint glass and a Flying Dog beer during the post-race party. After April 1, registration is $65. As long as it doesn't sell out, you can register day-of (but we wouldn't put our eggs in that basket).

A portion of the proceed will help start the FISC Foundation, which will provide scholarships to local athletes.
