Flying Dog Filmmaker Spotlight Sept. 30 in Baltimore
Some concern themselves with a spotless red carpet, paparazzi glitter, and A-list celebrities for a movie event. We concentrate on a kick-ass show, awesome venue, and good beer.

Thursday, September 30 is the premiere of Flying Dog Filmmakers Spotlight at the Landmark Theater in Baltimore.
At 7 pm, we'll kick things off with Moth, a short film written and directed by Hilton Carter - award-winning local filmmaker and Maryland Institute, College of Art (MICA) alum. Based on the painting "The Young Martyr" by Paul Delaroche, Moth is the story of Sophie, a beautiful starlet caught up in drugs and fame.
The night's feature presentation is Gonzo: The Life and Work of Dr. Hunter S. Thompson, a documentary directed by Alex Gibney. With an overarching theme that Thompson's Gonzo lifestyle devoured him, this 2008 film features rare home movies, audiotapes, and passages from unpublished manuscripts.
The musical stylings of DJ Impulse will fill the intermission and Flying Dog beer will be served in the theater.
You must be 21 or older to attend. Tickets are $15. The show's sure to sell out, so buy them now.
