DC Events for the Craft Brewers Conference

The time is almost upon us to kick back, connect with the craft beer elite, drink said craft beer, and get cultured as the Craft Brewers Conference descends upon our nation's capital. 

Here's what you need to know: 

Monday, March 25 

Charlie Bravo Charlie

  • Birch & Barley, 7 pm
  • A rare beer dinner and tap takeover featuring Flying Dog, Bluejacket, Cigar City, DC Brau, Firestone Walker, Maui, and Surly
  • Reservations required, call ChurchKey at 202-567-2576
  • Starting at 4 pm, all featured breweries are taking over the taps for the night at ChurchKey. Reservations are not required for upstairs. 

Tuesday, March 26

The Smoking Gun

  • Jack Rose Dining Saloon, 7 pm
  • 4 scandalous beer and cigar pairings with W. Curtis Draper Tobacconists 

Artisanal Fair

  • Art and Soul, 5 pm
  • A celebration of a new menu featuring locally-sourced and Southern-inspired cooking  

Gonzo Library

  • Renaisssance DC, midnight to 2 am
  • Late-night beer and snacks at the CBC host hotel

Wednesday, March 27

Cask-Off

  • Pizzeria Paradiso (Georgetown), 7 pm
  • A cask competition between our brewers and the Pizza P staff

  • Renaissance DC, midnight to 2 am
  • Late-night beer and snacks at the CBC host hotel

Thursday, March 28

Festival de Cans 

  • 9:30 Club, 8 pm
  • A craft beer-focused film festival and live performance by Escort featuring Flying Dog, Avery, The Brewer's Art, Brooklyn, DC Brau, Golden Road, Half Acre, New Belgium, Oskar Blues, Sierra Nevada, and Starr Hill 
  • $25 tickets on sale through 9:30 Club website 

Masters of the Craft Beer Universe

  • Smith Commons, 7 pm 
  • Epic 4-day event series featuring rare beers, industry leaders, live music, and food pairings 

Friday, March 29 

Drink Local 

  • Meridian Pint, 1 pm
  • Hosted by Beer Advocate and featuring 20 taps and 23 casks from local breweries
